A gentle way to let mathematics visit the classroom.

The Secondary School Outreach programme connects InvariantMath volunteers with nearby schools. A small team visits, shares a clear mathematical idea, runs a short activity, and answers questions about studying mathematics and where it leads.

The aim is simple: pupils leave with one memorable idea, one friendly experience of mathematics, and one clear picture of what it means to study the subject further.

How the programme works

The outreach team agrees on a date with the school, confirms basic details, and prepares a short, well-structured session. After each visit, the team records a brief note so that future volunteers see what happened and build on it.

  • • Visits run for 60–90 minutes.
  • • Mathematics stays accessible and interactive.
  • • Each visit is documented so the programme grows steadily over time.
