Submit a problem
Post a problem from a university course, a contest, or your own curiosity. LaTeX works in the title and the body. A thread opens immediately so discussion starts at once. Draft auto-save runs while you type.
How to post a great problem
- • Define symbols once, then reuse them consistently.
- • Add tags that describe the main idea, not every detail.
- • If the problem comes from a course, include the course code in tags (for example,
mat312). - • Aim for clarity. Mathematics is hard; the English stays clean.
LaTeX and preview
- • Inline maths:
$x^2 + y^2$or\(x^2+y^2\) - • Display maths:
$$\int_0^1 x^n\,dx$$or\[\int_0^1 x^n\,dx\] - • Multi-line:
\begin{align} ... \end{align} - • The preview renders with MathJax (standard LaTeX works; extra packages do not load).
- • Very long equations scroll sideways in the preview, especially on mobile.
